Brandon MurphyBrandon Murphy is a Graduate Assistant in the ESF Outreach office. He is primarily working on the Global Environment and the Evolution of Human Culture (EFB 120) online course, which will be offered to the public in Spring 2009. Brandon is a Master’s student in the Department of Environment and Forest Biology (EFB) working with Dr. Donald Leopold on inland salt marsh restoration on the Solvay waste beds around Onondaga Lake. Brandon had been a Teaching Assistant in EFB for over two years prior to joining the Outreach team, and spent three semesters working for Dr. Rick Beal on the classroom version of Global Environment. Brandon holds a B.S. in Biology from SUNY Cortland (2004). In his free time Brandon enjoys playing guitar, hiking, snowboarding, golfing, and playing soccer and softball.
