We hope to see you for the 9th Annual NYS Biotechnology Symposium which will be held at the Gateway Center on the SUNY-ESF campus.
Lois Beaver, Former Director at the US Food and Drug Administration, will discuss the science, legal and economic issues surrounding biosimilar production & marketing. Lois has had a multi-decade career at the US FDA, where she worked with various international organizations including WHO, International Conference on Harmonization (ICH) and APEC (Asia Pacific Economic Cooperation) Life Sciences Innovation Forum.
Bill Powell, Professor & Director, Council on Biotechnology in Forestry, will talk about reviving the American Chestnut and the public perception of biotechnology.

The NYS Biotechnology Symposium is hosted by the SUNY College of Environmental Science and Forestry.
The mission of the Biotechnology Symposium is to bring together industry representatives and scientists, academics and students, and other professionals interested in biotechnology in order to develop synergies and relationships that further advance the field.
