offers free electronic field guides to North American birds, reptiles,

reptiles, amphibians, mammals, trees, flowers, etc.etc, Great
resource for teachers and students alike.
- www.learner.org/jnorth/current.html - The award winning site "Journey
North"
tracks the migration patterns of a number of North American species of
animals which are tracked in
real time using radiotelemetry. E-mail scientists and learn about
their studies of
these migrating animals.
- www.enature.com/outdoors/hawkwatch/hw_home.asp - The
best time to see hawks, harriers, eagles, and their kin is during the
fall migration. We've chosen some of the top hawkwatch sites in North
America....several close to the New York area. Have your
students follow the migration south and perhaps visit one of these
sites.
