Credits toward Licensure
Many programs earn continuing education credits valid towards licensure renewal for NYS Engineers, NYS Landscape Architects and NYS Architects.
According to the NYS Office of the Professions, programs that earn continuing education credits for NYS Engineers (1 contact hour = 1 professional development hour), for Landscape Architects (1 contact hour = 1 learning unit) and for NYS Architects (1 contact hour = 0.1 continuing education unit).

- Kiln Drying Workshop
139 Baker Lab, SUNY ESF campus, 1 Forestry Drive, Syracuse, NY 1321-. This course will provide practical knowledge about how wood is effectively kiln dried, and scientific background on related wood properties and drying processes. It will have value for novice as well as experienced kiln operators, and sales, purchasing, marketing and manufacturing managers. Instruction, by university professors and various industry experts, will be in the classroom and through hands-on lab exercises using our modern kiln.

- Central New York Biotechnology Symposium 2010 – Cultivating Economic Growth
