Biography

 

Charle-Pan Dawson is an associate project manager at NYSERDA in the New Construction and Green Buildings Program. The New Construction and Green Buildings Program provides technical assistance, building energy modeling and commissioning services on a cost shared basis and capital cost incentives for high performance building projects.

 

A LEED® accredited professional through the United States Green Building Council and a chemist, she brings experience to the area of green materials science, and indoor air and environmental quality issues. She has managed more than 100 building projects statewide and has been involved in the development of green guidelines for the Governor’s Executive Order No.111 and The University of Buffalo. Charle-Pan serves on the Board and as an officer for the New York Upstate Chapter of the USGBC.                                             

 

As a private citizen she is involved in local biodiesel initiatives and drives a very efficient car that runs on biodiesel.
