- A block of rooms is reserved at the Genesee Grande Hotel, 1060 E. Genesee St., Syracuse, NY 13210. To reserve a room at a special rate of $78 per night, call 315-476-4212 (cut off date for this room rate is January 1, 2006) and please mention the Kiln Drying workshop to receive the discounted rate. Check in time is 3:00 PM; check-out time is 12 noon.
