New York’s research universities serve as centers for innovation, with scientists and students leading the way with new ideas and potential. Central New York is developing into an innovation hub with established industries and accelerators to help developing new businesses. This year’s Symposium is about bridging the gap by bringing together representatives from all of these sectors to accelerate the movement of new technologies from the lab to the marketplace.

We are excited to announce that the 2013 Biotechnology Symposium will be held at the new SUNY College of Environmental Science and Forestry (ESF) Gateway Center, a state of the art multi-use building designed to achieve LEED Platinum Certification.

Conference Mission

The mission of the Biotechnology Symposium is to bring together industry representatives and scientists, academics and students, and other professionals interested in biotechnology in order to develop synergies and relationships that further advance the field.
