Using Maintimizer
Do not use the Web Request in emergency situations. If you have an emergency request such as no heat, no power or a major water leak, phone the Physical Plant main office at X6588 or University Police X6666.
Set up User Profile
- Go to http://maintimizer.esf.edu
- If you have not registered online, click on link to create user profile.
- Create a Customer Account
Note: customer account is not case sensitive
Some campus departments have chosen to create one web request profile for the department. You may want to contact your department office to see if this is the case. - Create a password.
- Complete personal information sections, then
- SUBMIT
Create a Work Request
- Go to http://maintimizer.esf.edu
- Enter user ID and password, then SUBMIT
If you forget your password, please contact the physical Plant department at 470-6588. - A new page will open. At the top of the page, select CREATE WORK REQUEST.
- Complete the requested information and ?SUBMIT?
Confirmation
You’ll receive an e-mail with the following message:
Your work request has been submitted, and has been assigned the number XXX. You will be alerted as your work request progresses. You can view any changes in your WorkRequest status by going to “VIEW WORK REQUEST” page, and typing in the number XXX.
Once your work request has been submitted, you cannot make any changes. Contact the Physical Plant office at 470-6588 to make changes.
Check Status
To view the status of the work order, go to ?VIEW WORK REQUEST? and scroll to the bottom of the page. Under Work Order Details, you can see the progress of the work order. Note: At the top of the page, the status will be “C Closed” if the work request has been converted to a work order.
Work Order Status Codes:
| C CLOSED | The work order has been officially closed by the Physical Plant main office. |
| G PROGRESSING | The work order has been assigned to the custodial or grounds staff for completion. |
| N PLANNING | The work order has been assigned to the trades staff for completion. |
| O OPEN | The work order is open. |
| X CANCELED | The work order has been canceled. |
