Vehicles & Busing
The Physical Plant department maintains a fleet of vehicles that are available for use by College employees for college-related purposes. Barb Sorrells in the Physical Plant & Facilities main office is responsible for scheduling all fleet vehicles and buses on campus.
- Overnight Parking requires a special permit & prior approval from Physical Plant, and is only available for personal vehicles when using a College vehicle overnight.
- Only authorized passengers are allowed in a College-owned vehicle, which includes: employees, students, researchers, Research Foundation employees, and approved volunteers. Any request for a passenger not specified above must be approved by Physical Plant and the VP for Administration.
- The individual who approves or authorizes the Vehicle/Bus Request Form is approving that the driver has a valid license and if the driver is a student, has received approval from the UPD office through the LENS program and also that approved/appropriate funding is available to cover the associated costs.
