Dr. Yuan's research interests includes: Surface Science, Polymer Morphology Electrochemistry and Atomic Force and Electron microscopy. Her work involves extensive use of state-of-the-art technology such as AFM, SEM, PA-FTIR for identification and characterization of the surface and interface of polymers, membranes and blends. She co-directs a variety of electrochemistry projects including rechargeable batteries, PEM fuel cells, and electropolymerization.
