The New Ranger School
$6 Million Capital Construction Project Complete
In May 2001, with funding from the State University of New York Construction Fund, the College of Environmental Science and Forestry embarked on a three-phase, $6 million renovation of The Ranger School.
Phase one of this project provided a new addition to the existing building that includes a 92 seat distance learning lecture hall, a 40 seat smart classroom and a 96 seat dining hall, kitchen and food service and conference room. Phases 2 and 3 involved renovation of the existing main building.
