Ranger School ‘2005 ties RS Alumni, 5-5, at Seventh Annual
Ranger School vs RS-Alumni Hockey Game


Many Ranger School alumni and some of their friends competed against the Ranger School '2005 hockey team on Saturday, March 5, 2005, in Pulaski, NY.  It was a very close game, with fifteen goals but only one penalty.
  • Period 1 – Tie Game (2-2)
    Alumni goals by Jim Norman, assisted by Curt Arquette, and Kirby Coon, unassisted

  • Period 2 – Won by ‘2005 (2-1)

    • (Ten seconds into the period, Kirby Coon received a 2 minute penalty for holding, following a scruffle with the referee’s daughter, Mary LaTray)
       
  • Period 3 – Won by Alumni (2-1)

According to the rules of the game, each team received 2 points for winning a period, or 1 for a tie.  The overall score of the game was 5-5, the first tie in the game's seven-year run.

Many friends and family members, parents, children, and others, attended the game, including a number of alumni who just wanted to watch.
