| Students work in a number of ways to support Habitat activities in Syracuse and beyond. Recently we provided guidance on pursuing a building certification for their Syracuse Home building projects. Habitat project. | An inter-disciplinary group working on problems in sustainable design. Deconstruction and Urban Greenhouses are the two current projects. Ibox | An ongiong college effort to produce video for the community on "green" topics of interest. Below are a few that we have provided:Geothermal Heating,Preventing Home Heat Loss,Green Lighting |
With support from CNYworks and Syracuse Center of Excellence in Environmental and Energy Innovations, we have provided training for students and community members to become LEED Accredited Professionals and Green Associates.. | Students have worked with seven Syracuse-area childcare facilities to provide working construction models for learning about the built environment.
