Service

Many first-year students participate in community service, creating a strong bond with the surrounding community.

Student Organizations and Other Ways to Get Involved

Start with our fall activities fair to learn about student organizations and activities. Join in!

Alcohol & Other Drug Awareness

ESF works to encourage healthy choices by creating a positive living and learning environment for students—one that does not tolerate the illegal and harmful use of alcohol and other drugs. We do this in several ways:

  • Through our campus judicial system;
  • By providing educational programs on alcohol and other drugs
  • As sponsors of drug and alcohol free social events
  • By providing academic content on the implications of alcohol and other drug us.

Diversity Awareness and Training

ESF offers programs exploring race, gender, sexual orientation, religion, ethnicity, etc., through the student-to-student mentoring program, the Office of Student Diversity and Inclusion and other avenues.
