The Men’s and Women’s Team took an educational overnight field trip to ESF’s Ecological Center in the Adirondacks, the teams went on to play Paul Smiths College winning both games. This fun educational trip is also scheduled in the fall 2009 season.
Comparable to NCAA Division III, the level of play among intercollegiate club teams sponsored by these major universities is very competitive. Team members often come from competitive high school or community college programs.
The team trains two to three times a week at Syracuse University’s newly renovated soccer specific facility. Home games are played on the Hookway athletic fields on the S.U. campus. The Events are primarily scheduled on weekends. The program emphasizes academics as well as athletics. It is our belief that a good balance between both yields success.
