Scott J. Blair, M.Ed.
Coordinator for Academic Support Services
Scott has been with SUNY-ESF since 2008 and oversees the operation of the Office of Academic Support Services and its principal programs such as the First Year Learning Community, the Peer Tutoring Program, and the Academic Success Center. Prior to joining the SUNY-ESF Student Life staff, Mr. Blair spent time as a Residence Director for the Office of Residence Life at Syracuse University and also was a co-chair for the department's Diversity Committee.
A member of the Student Affairs Administrators in Higher Education (NASPA) and the National Academic Advising Association (NACADA), Mr. Blair holds a Master of Education degree in Higher Education-Administration from Kutztown University of Pennsylvania. During his graduate school experience, Scott served as a graduate assistant for the Student Support Services Program and also for the Office of New Student Programs & Services. Scott also holds a Bachelor of Science in Education degree from Kutztown University in Secondary Education-English.
Born in Caracas, Venezuela and a native of Pennsylvania, Scott and his wife Katie reside in Syracuse.
Giselle Guadalupe
Peer Tutor Coordinator
Giselle is currently a Senior, Conservation Biology major at SUNY-ESF. In addition to her duties in the Office of Academic Support Services, Giselle also is an active member of our campus community as an Orientation Leader and Mentor, a Student Ambassador, and a member of the Alpha Phi Omega fraternity.
Born and raised in the Bronx, NY, Giselle enjoys reading, volunteering and playing video games.
