Graduate positions currently available with Director Dr. John Farrell are posted on the ESF Graduate Studies.Undergraduate Work-study Positions
Through the Federal Work-study Program undergraduate students have the opportunity to obtain hands on field experience and learn basic fisheries techniques and skills.
Job Description: Work-study students are primarily responsible for assisting in field research and maintenance of field station facilities, equipment and gear.
Job Requirements: Ability to swim, ability to endure long hours in the field under any weather condition, boating experience or willingness to learn
Volunteer Opportunities
Anyone interested in the fisheries aquatic ecology of the St. Lawrence River may volunteer their time for any number of research projects going on at the island. We are always looking for helping hands and would love to have you join us on the river.
