Mentors in the program assist UMEB students with seminars and field work - ESF Faculty Mentors - Biological Support Staff from Adirondack Ecological Center (AEC) Mentors - Graduate Student Mentors - Stewardship Mentors Stewardship mentors are an important component of the student research experience. UMEB students interact with organizations involved in land stewardship in Adirondack Park.  Representatives will provide students with insight into the decision-making process, an understanding of how student research can contribute to policy formation, description of how the public participates in land stewardship activities, and other issues of stewardship relevant to Adirondack Park.
