Dear Colleague,

We are pleased to invite your participation in the fourth annual Upstate New York NMR Symposium held this year in Syracuse. Ad Bax will be the featured guest speaker, and others from around the region will highlight their work in talks and posters. The event is hosted by SUNY - College of Environmental Science and Forestry (ESF) , Syracuse University (SU),  and SUNY - Upstate Medical University (UMU), and Bristol-Meyers Squibb.

Please forward this announcement to others who may be interested. It may also  be found at http://www.esf.edu/unynmr

Registration:

Send an e-mail to Bill Winter <wtwinter@syr.edu>
Include:
(1) Name, address, e-mail, and phone.
(2) Poster Title (if applicable)
You must register if you wish to have lunch or present a poster.

We hope that nearly everyone who attends will present an aspect of their work at the meeting.  There is plenty of space and time for posters, so send in your titles on any aspect of biomolecular structure, dynamics, molecular recognition and interactions, as well as methodological advances.
Revisit the Upstate NY NMR Home Page, http://www.esf.edu/unynmr/,  and the program page from time to time in case there are any late changes.

Sessions:

The morning session will be held in the Alumni Lounge located in the basement of Marshall Hall on the ESF campus (see <Maps> and <Parking>). Lunch will be provided in that same room.  After lunch, you can browse the posters located in Baker Laboratory, Floor 1, and visit the ESF NMR laboratory, in B18-19 Edwin C. Jahn Laboratory (see <Maps>).  and posters located in the atrium on the west end of Baker Laboratory, Floor 1.  The oral session will resume at 2 PM in 140 Baker Laboratory, next to the Poster Session. This one one-day session offers and informal and informative opportunity to interact with members of other NMR groups in Upstate New York and share recent results,. advances, and problems in biomolecular NMR.

Cost:

As a way of encouaging the broadest possible participation by members of the Upstate NY NMR research community the registration fee will be kept to a nice round number, zero!  The meeting is supported by donations from our many friends:
