Watersheds and interconnected surface water provide key economic, recreational, cultural resources and ecosystem services.
Diverse watersheds and instrumentation within NY State and elsewhere provide unique opportunities for understanding and quantifying the degradation and restoration of watershed resources.
SUNY-ESF employs world-class faculty, having outstanding research facilities, offers interdisciplinary opportunities and hands-on experiences.
Faculty, staff and students have the opportunity to interact with many governmental research and private organizations in regards to water related issues. Many of these organizations have employed students who have graduated from programs at SUNY-ESF.
SUNY-ESF offers a variety of undergraduate and graduate degree programs related to watershed resources. Funding is available for talented students in all degree programs.
SUNY-ESF is continuously moving forward, adding new faculty and courses to watershed resources related programs. We have faculty, research, and courses in all aspects of this field.
