Engage in a powerful experiential learning experience that combines ecology, policy, philosophy, ethics, ecology, sustainability and history as you work directly with researchers, park administrators and other stakeholders to help solve real challenges facing the park today.
A living lab like no other. The Adirondack Park is a vibrant wilderness ecosystem, a network of small communities with over 200 years of history and the heart of a web of environmental policy and science stretching across the state of New York and beyond.
Recreate splendidly. Heart-stoppingly beautiful, the Adirondack Park is one of the most pristine wildernesses in the continental US. Containing famous recreation destinations like Lake Placid, it is one of the premiere destinations in the US for outdoor activities. It also boasts cultural attractions including historic sites, music and arts, seasonal festivals and more. And it can be yours to explore!
