Junior Naturalist Intern

Are you a high school student who enjoys the outdoors and wants to share your enthusiasm with others? Then spend your summer here at the AIC as a Junior Naturalist (JN).

JNs have the chance to develop and lead their own programs, delve into natural and cultural history subjects they are interested in, participate in scientific research and learn about the inner workings of a nature center. We'll also work with you to create a summer-long project that utilizes your talents and interests.

Interpretive Naturalist Intern

Take your education beyond the classroom. This internship provides college students with real-world experience in environmental interpretation and education. The Interpretive Naturalist Intern (INI) will have the opportunity to practice and utilize their skills and knowledge while they develop and present public interpretive programs, speak with guests and explore and share the natural and cultural history of the region.
