Event Description: Join the Friends of Moon Library as we welcome ESF graduate and Upstate Medical University Assistant Professor of Medicine Dr. Anna M. Stewart Ibarra to present on and discuss climate change and human health.
Dr. Stewart Ibarra is currently a Assistant Professor in the Department of Medicine and Department of Public Health and Preventative Medicine. She is also the Director, Latin America and Caribbean Research Program for the Institute for Global Health & Translational Science at SUNY Upstate Medical University. She received her Ph.D. in Ecology from the SUNY College of Environmental Science and Forestry (2012) and Masters in Public Administration from the Maxwell School of Citizenship and Public Affairs at Syracuse University and is a leading researcher on climate-sensitive emerging infectious diseases.
