Dr. Lemir Teron to Be Honored as Unsung Hero

Mighty Oaks Settle for Weekend Split

The ESF Mighty Oaks men's basketball team finished the weekend with a 1-1 record. Although they handily beat the Culinary Institute of America by an 80-41 score on Jan. 19, it was the previous game on Jan. 18 that got away from the Mighty Oaks against Five Towns College in an 80-74 defeat. (1/21)

New Department Name Reflects Growth in Academic Programs

The Department of Sustainable Resources Management is the new name for an academic department that has been central to the College since its founding in 1911. (1/14)

‘Transformational’ Gift from Templeton Foundation Supports Chestnut Restoration

ESF has received its largest-ever charitable gift, $3.2 million, to support one of the College's most impactful research projects - the restoration of the American chestnut tree.

The gift from the Templeton World Charity Foundation, Inc., will support a full three years of research and restoration work. (1/10)
