The Council for Geospatial Modeling and Analysis (CGMA) is a group of faculty and staff at the State University of New York College of Environmental Science and Forestry (ESF) in Syracuse, NY. CGMA (pronounced sigma) coordinates and enhances many diverse and dynamic activities associated with spatial information. CGMA promotes spatial analysis both on and off campus by developing coherent instructional, research, and public service programs. CGMA also provides a medium for faculty, administrators, staff, and students involved with spatial data to share their experiences and be kept up to date on changes in hardware or software.
The Council for Geospatial Modeling and Analysis encourages participation from any faculty or staff person using spatial information.
