10:30 -11:00 AM Depart New England Pellets, travel to Levan’ s farm (Sweeney Rd - 23 min, 12 mi)
11:00 - 11:45 AM Visit Levan's farm, depart for Lyons Falls (1 hr, 8 min, 46.6 mi Box Lunch on the way)
12:50 – 1:10 PM Arrive in Lyons Falls, Rest Room break
1:10 – 2:00 PM Visit Lyonsdale Biomass
2:00 PM Tour #1: Departs for Syracuse, NY (2 hrs 23 min., 126 mi). ETA in Syracuse = TBD depending on departure time.
2:00 PM Tour #2: Departs from Lyons Falls and continues to Stonefence Resort, Ogdensburg, NY (1 hr, 50 min, 92 mi)

4:00 – 5:00 PM Presentation on Ontario East Wood Centre and Eco-industrial Park at Stonefence Resort for tour participants (in the Restaurant)

Itinerary for Tour #2 (Day 2)

8:00 - 8:30 AM Breakfast; Depart for Ogdensburg
8:45 - 9:45 AM Crossing border - Passports are required for entry into Canada
10:00-11:30 AM Tour Edwardsburgh Township (2 stops)  Martin Streit and Adam Zulinski – hybrid poplars, silver maple
11:30 - 12:00 PM Travel to Kemptville
12:00 - 1:00 PM Lunch will be provided at the Ferguson Forest Centre in Kemptville (Cost to be determined)
1:00 -3:00 PM Visit Ferguson Forest Centre, Kemptville, new plantation – 5 years old and different clones, spacing. Ontario East Wood Centre
3:00 - 6:00 PM Depart Kemptville and return to Syracuse (3 hours, 161 mi)

ETA to SU Sheraton in Syracuse, NY: 6:00 PM (also option to go to Ottawa, departing 3:00, arriving 3:45)


Lodging: Wednesday Overnight stop (US side in Ogdensburg, NY)

We have reserved a block of rooms with Single Queen rate $60 (block of 9 rooms) and Two Double bed rate $89 (block of 10). Please provide a credit card with your reservation.
