ESF has worked with me to schedule time to work for the USDA Forest Service while completing my masters program.I have enjoyed the professionalism and flexibility of the faculty.I'm comfortable with a student body which proudly auctions fly fishing gear and chain saws.

I am currently working on a study that investigates the ways in which visitors respond to undesirable conditions/experiences in a wilderness environment. My areas of interest include recreation resources management and environmental dispute resolution.

About my ESF experience: When I first started college here at ESF 3 1/2 years ago, I wasn't exactly sure what it was that I wanted to study.After completing several of the college�s recreation courses, I realized that recreation was the program for me.I feel that I chose the right program because just about everything thing that I do in my leisure time carries over to what it is that I'm studying here at ESF.
