DISCUSSION SERIES, POTLUCKS & WORKSHOPS
Evening programs are difficult for the many members of our community who have long commutes, who need to swing by childcare programs or rush to after school programs. For others, evenings work far better. So, we try to offer some programs for each schedule.
Daytime programs are generally one hour, and many participants bring their lunches. Evening programs and workshops will generally feature dinner on the cheap. Participants contribute a dish to pass (such as a salad, main dish, dessert, bread, chips, or cheese and crackers), or $3-5 for the increasingly popular "Takeout Fund." We are always looking for reliable, inexpensive and delicious delivery restaurants, so if you have a place you adore, let us know, and we'll be happy to give them a try! We generally allocate 30 minutes to socialize, 30 minutes to eat, and 1 hour for a program. For more information about any potluck supper or brown bag discussion, or to suggest a program, please contact Ruth Yanai (firstname.lastname@example.org) or Janine DeBaise (email@example.com
