GSA Student Speaker Series: Mike Dimpfl will be presenting preliminary findings from recent fieldwork on Skaneateles Lake targeting a cohort of 75 household compelled by the City of Syracuse to install composting toilets as a component of watershed policy. The study seeks to bring empirical data about the use of an alternative toilet technology in conversation with scholarship dealing with environmental governance, watershed policy, and the human dimensions of household freshwater use.
Come early for light refreshments. This is a trash-free event, so bring a mug and bowl (or plate)!
