The Sun: Earth's Essential Star

Location: Adirondack Interpretive Center, 5922 State Route 28N, Newcomb, NY

Event Description: Did you know there are telescopes in space that are looking at the Sun 24 hours a day? Led by amaeteur astronomer Bob Fisher, participants will discuss what these telescopes have found and what it means for us on Earth. Weather permitting, participants will go outside to safely observe the Sun through Solar telescopes!
