14th Upstate New York NMR Conference and Structural Biology Symposium

Campus Calendar

Monday, October 19, 2015 - Tuesday, October 20, 2015
8:00 am - 5:00 pm

Location: Gateway Center

Event Description: The Syracuse Hill Colleges (SUNY-ESF, Syracuse University and SUNY Upstate Medical University) are inviting life science and biotechnology researchers to attend a two day event featuring the 14th Upstate NY NMR Symposium and the 1st Upstate Structural Biology Symposium, to be held October 19 & 20, 2015, at SUNY-ESF's Gateway Center.

The two day event features oral presentations and a poster session covering NMR spectroscopy related topics (on day one) and more general structural biology based themes (on day two).
The NMR symposium is also dedicated to celebrating the recent installation of the NIH funded Bruker Avance 800 MHz NMR with cryo probe at SUNY-ESF, a project made possible by the enduring collaboration of NMR aficionados from Cornell, Rochester, Buffalo and Syracuse.
The keynote speakers are Guy Montelione from Rutgers (day one) and Eaton Lattman from the Hauptman-Woodward Institute/SUNY Buffalo (day 2).
The program will start at 8 AM on October 19 and end at 5 PM on October 20, with breakfast and lunch provided on both days plus a reception on October 19 during which the poster session will take place. There is no registration fee for the entire event but we ask that you register so that we can plan ahead. We hope that everyone will be able to attend both days, regardless of the interest.
