Event Description: Spend a weekend in the beautiful Adirondacks while developing this unique, rewarding skill with the help of licensed guides! This workshop is geared toward beginners and will focus on fly casting and fly fishing while emphasizing the natural science of the sport. Professional Fly Fishing Guides Rick Kovacs and Lora Couture of Packbasket Adventures will provide indoor and outdoor instruction and lead fishing excursions to nearby locations. Instruction will include proper gear and casting, "catch and release" and its role in conserving our freshwater fish resources, the art of fly tying and more. Stay in the historic and beautifully renovated Huntington Lodge and enjoy meals in our dining center. The all-inclusive cost is $240 to $290 depending on accommodation needs.
