Hoverter Half Hour: Early Cranberry (1915-1925)
Thursday, September 14, 2017
11:30 am - 12:00 pm
Location: 5 Illick Hall
Since the 1960's the Cranberry Lake Biological Station located on Barber's Point has been used primarily by our SUNY-ESF Department of Environmental and Forest Biology. It currently has resident cabins, an administration building, an amazing kitchen, a dining room and labs to work in. However, when our New York State College of Forestry at Syracuse University began using that campus in 1915, there was only one small shack used as a kitchen. Come join us to see how students and faculty lived and how the campus began to grow during its first decade. Please bring your lunch and learn some of your College's history!
