Location: 437 Baker Lab

Event Description: This workshop will be a one day short course (non-credit) covering basic GPS theory and applications, from field work to mapping, using mapping grade GPS equipment (Trimble GeoXH) and Pathfinder Office software. The course is designed as a practical introduction to the use of the Global Positioning System to determine the mapping positions of points of interest. Participants are welcome to bring personal GPS units.
