Event Description: This session will explore the role that woody biomass plays in our renewable energy supply and discuss how willow biomass crops are being developed as a source of biomass for the production of renewable heat, power, fuels. Other uses for shrub willows as living snow fences and phytoremediation in central NY will be highlighted.
