Event Description:

Episode 3: "Searching for Our Names" 12:00-1:00 pm
Continuing back through the Colonial period of American history, war service records and ways of recording property during slavery such as inventories, sales or gifts of slaves, help fill in the participants' family trees.
Episode 4: "Beyond the Middle Passage" 1:00-2:00 pm
When the paper trail runs out, Dr. Gates visits scientists who are using DNA analysis to trace ancestral roots. DNA studies lead guests to journey to Africa and to meet people who may be long-lost cousins.
