"Assessing the Potential for Land to be used for Willow Biomass Production in Four Northeastern States".
Global energy needs are growing as is the need to curb greenhouse gas emissions. This work uses beta-regression models to examine and quantify the factors affecting land use change in Maine, New Hampshire, New York and Vermont. These models are then applied to determine the required payment necessary to support current wood consumption by power plants in the region.
