Event Description: Libraries and MOOCs

Come join your colleagues and hear from people on the ground involved in Massive Open Online Courses (MOOCs) as planners and learners. We invite you to share your thoughts and ask your questions at a brown bag discussion, sponsored by the Eastern New York Chapter/Association of College and Research Libraries (ENY/ACRL) Brown Bag Lunch Series. Nancy Turner, Research and Assessment Analyst, Syracuse University Libraries, will serve as facilitator.

Registration is free, but we ask you to RSVP to Nancy Turner ( by November 5, in order for us to provide a beverage and some snacks. However, last minute walk-ins are welcome even without an RSVP.

Attendees should bring their own “brown bags” and may want to consider stopping by the Trailhead Café ( in the Gateway Center (, which is a new SUNY ESF building, and well worth a visit.
