Event Description:

Iran, also referred to as Persia, is an ancient civilization that goes back to 3200 BCE. It was a kingdom for over 2500 years. In 1978 it finally became a republic. Over the centuries, Iran has expanded and contracted and its people have both struggled and prospered. Through it all, they have maintained their culture and their national pride. Join us to learn more about Persian culture and beliefs, presented by Azam Noori Tooranposhti.
