Managing White Pine in the Adirondacks - A workshop for foresters, loggers and landowners

Location: Adirondack Interpretive Center - 5922 State Route 28N, Newcomb NY

Event Description: In this workshop, participants will explore options for managing planted or natural white pine stands based on recent research by natural resource scientists. Presenters include Dr. Rene Germain and Dr. Chistopher Nowak, both professors at SUNY-ESF; and Stacy McNulty and Charlotte Demers of SUNY-ESF's Adirondack Ecological Center.

Registration fee (includes lunch) - $30/person. To register, contact the AIC at 518-582-2000 or by Friday, August 1. This workshop is accredited for 1 TLC elective credit towards NYLT. SAF continuing education credits will be announced at the workshop.
