Elaine R. Irvin Named Personnel Director at SUNY-ESF
SYRACUSE, N.Y. - Elaine R. Irvin has been named director of personnel and affirmative action at the SUNY College of Environmental Science and Forestry (ESF).
Irvin comes to ESF from SUNY System Administration in Albany, where she spent a year as associate director of employee relations. Irvin reviewed disciplinary actions and grievances, and was a SUNY representative during statewide labor negotiations.
At ESF, Irvin will handle personnel matters regarding some 425 employees.
Irvin previously served as executive director of human resources and affirmative action at Central Arizona College in Coolidge, Ariz. She also was employed with the SUNY College at Oneonta and the SUNY Institute of Technology at Utica/Rome.
Irvin holds a bachelor of science degree in elementary education from the SUNY College at Geneseo and a master's degree in managerial science from Binghamton University.
