ESF races duck to end racism
Duck Race to End Racism, June 11, Syracuse Inner Harbor
ESF will participate in the Duck Race to End Racism noon to 4 p.m. on June 11 at Syracuse’s Inner Harbor.
The race for glory begins at 12:15 p.m. The remainder of the day will be filled with entertainment and refreshments celebrating the many cultures in and around Syracuse. The event is designed to promote a community wide dialogue to end racism, improve race relations and promote racial healing.
As an event sponsor, ESF will have a duck of its own in the water. This year's duck was decorated by Bridget Dunn and Casey Landerkin. Bridget is the daughter of Claire Dunn from the Office of News & Publications.
Last year ESF's duck came in last. With some encouragement, we’re certain EcoDuck can place better this year, so bring the family to the Inner Harbor and cheer on the ESF duck.
