ESF to Host Teaching, Research and Outreach Symposium

SYRACUSE, N.Y. The SUNY College of Environmental Science and Forestry(ESF) will host a symposium on teaching, research and outreach Oct. 7 at the college’s Syracuse campus.
Dr. Susan Powers, an expert in the field of integrating research and education across a wide range of educational levels, will be the keynote speaker.
A panel presentation and discussion will explore the numerous aspects of synergistic teaching, research and outreach activities. A number of outreach-focused projections and initiatives from throughout ESF will be featured.
The symposium begins at 11:45 a.m. in Marshall Hall’s Alumni Lounge on ESF’s Syracuse campus. For more information, contact ESF Outreach at 470-6817.
