ESF Featured at the New York State Fair
College has been a part of the statewide expo for decades
8/23/2011

From its earliest years, public education played an important role at the College of Forestry. Since the early 1900s the College has staged exhibits at the New York State Fair which is attended by hundreds of thousands of people yearly. Over the years, the exhibits have changed to reflect both the College's scope and the public's interest in various fields. Today, ESF brings hands-on science to fairgoers, offering them the opportunity to make hand-made paper, taste liquid nitrogen ice cream, take home a tree seedling to plant, or learn about invasive species.
