SU/ESF Habitat for Humanity Shack-A-Thon
10/7/2011
The Syracuse University/SUNY College of Environmental Science and Forestry fourth annual Shack-A-Thon is under way on the SU quad. Students build and stay overnight in the wooden shacks on the quad to raise awareness and money for Habitat for Humanity. Different groups, such as fraternities and sororities, sponsor the shacks. The SU/ESF Habitat for Humanity chapter was founded in 1991. Last year's Shack-A-Thon raised almost $6,000.
