DiRado leads ESF at Roberts Wesleyan Invitational
10/3/2012
The Mighty Oaks golf team traveled to the Roberts Wesleyan Invitational Sept. 29 for its first two-day event, finishing in seventh place.
The first day, scores were high on the long, demanding course but the team came back the second day, ready to improve upon its 348 total from the first day.
Ryan DiRado led the team both days, with a score of 82 the first day and 75 the second day. Another notable performance came from Brendan Beeke, who ended his second day with an 81.
The final event for the season, the USCAA National Championships, is next. The team will travel Oct. 7 to State College, Pa., for that competition.
