Personal Statement
I have just recently joined the Chestnut Group after living 26 years in Florida. My goal is to graduate with the background and experience necessary to gain a career in the area of plant biotechnology, with a focus in genetic engineering.

Graduate Research Topic
I am presently focused on the effects of light intensity and spectral quality on growth and shoot initiation.
