Parking
Admissions Event Guests
Guests attending a Summer College Information Session or Accepted Student Reception should park in the Irving Parking Garage (directions).
Admissions Daily Visitors
Proceed to the ESF Campus entrance at the south end of Irving Avenue. Due to construction of ESF’s new Gateway Center, on-campus parking for visitors is very limited. If on-campus parking is available, you will be issued a parking pass and directed to Visitor Parking. If no space is available, you will be directed to the Irving Parking Garage (directions) or another designated parking area. Construction on campus will also disrupt many sidewalk areas, so we ask that you be cautious and comply with pedestrian pathways when redirected around construction areas.
Using a GPS? Use the address 1000 Irving Ave., Syracuse, NY for the ESF campus entrance, and coordinates N43°02.213', W076°08.358' for the Irving Parking Garage entrance.
Visitors in need of handicapped parking facilities must make arrangements for on-campus parking with ESF University Police by calling (315) 470-6667.

Construction may cause traffic delays around campus from May 13th - August 16th. Please plan accordingly.
Directions below reflect summer road closures.
From Points East of Syracuse:
- New York State Thruway (I-90) west to exit 36 for I-81 south.
- I-81 south to exit 18 for East Adams Street (follow signs).
- Turn left onto East Adams Street; proceed two blocks to Irving Avenue.
- Turn right onto Irving Avenue. Follow Irving Avenue past the hospital.
- Take your next right onto Van Buren Street. Proceed two blocks to Henry Street.
- Turn Left onto Henry Street. Proceed one block to E. Raynor Avenue.
- Turn Left onto E. Raynor Avenue and proceed back to Irving Avenue.
- Turn right and proceed to the traffic control station. This is the ESF campus entrance.
From Points South of Syracuse:
- I-81 north to exit 18 for East Adams Street.
- Turn right onto East Adams Street at the end of the exit ramp.
- Proceed two blocks to Irving Avenue.
- Turn right onto Irving Avenue. Follow Irving Avenue past the hospital.
- Take your next right onto Van Buren Street. Proceed two blocks to Henry Street.
- Turn Left onto Henry Street. Proceed one block to E. Raynor Avenue.
- Turn Left onto E. Raynor Avenue and proceed back to Irving Avenue.
