Parking
Proceed to the ESF Campus entrance at the south end of Irving Avenue. Due to construction of ESF’s new Gateway Building, on-campus parking for visitors will be very limited throughout the 2010-11 and 2011-12 academic years. If on-campus parking is available, you will be issued a parking pass and directed to Visitor Parking. If no space is available, you will be directed to the Irving Parking Garage (directions) or another designated parking area. Construction on campus will also disrupt many sidewalk areas, so we ask that you be cautious and comply with pedestrian pathways when redirected around construction areas.
Undergraduate Admissions Events
If you have registered to attand a College Information Session, Open House, Transfer Day or Accepted Student Reception, directions to complimentary parking will be enclosed with your registration confirmation.
Visitors in need of handicapped parking facilities must make arrangements for on-campus parking with ESF University Police by calling (315) 470-6667.
Directions:
From Points East of Syracuse:
- New York State Thruway (I-90) west to exit 36 for I-81 south.
- I-81 south to exit 18 for East Adams Street (follow signs).
- Turn left onto East Adams Street; proceed two blocks to Irving Avenue.
- Turn right onto Irving Avenue. Follow Irving Avenue to the end.
- The ESF campus entrance is on your left, next to the Carrier Dome.
From Points South of Syracuse:
- I-81 north to exit 18 for East Adams Street.
- Turn right onto East Adams Street at the end of the exit ramp.
- Proceed two blocks to Irving Avenue.
- Turn right onto Irving Avenue. Follow Irving Avenue to the end.
- The ESF campus entrance is on your left, next to the Carrier Dome.
From Points West of Syracuse:
- New York State Thruway (I-90) east to exit 36 for I-81 south.
- I-81 south to exit 18 for East Adams Street (follow signs).
