Directions

From Interstate Route 81 south exit to Interstate 481 north at exit 16A. Exit I-481 at Rock Cut Road (exit 1) and turn right. Proceed to Traffic signal on Brighton Avenue. Turn left and proceed to second traffic signal. Take Lafayette Road approximately 1.5 miles to the Station entrance on the right.

From Interstate 81 north, exit at Interstate 481 north exit 16A and exit I-481 at Rock Cut Road (exit 1). Follow the above directions to Station entrance.

Lafayette Road Experiment Station

The Experiment Station within the City of Syracuse, houses the College arboreta and plays an important role for students learning to identify woody plants, regardless of their major. Onsite glasshouses and a tree nursery provide facilities for graduate students and faculty to conduct research.  A combination of plantation and natural stands comprise the remainder of the property. 452 Lafayette Road, Syracuse, NY 13205.
