My Master’s research is focused on the invasive Asian Woodwasp, Sirex noctilio, and its associated parasitoids in New York.  Sirex noctilio has caused significant ecological and economic damage in other areas where it has been introduced, and I hope to add to the knowledge base that will be needed to prevent these damages in New York State.  My non-scholarly interests include sarcasm, hockey, playing music, Sudoku and crossword puzzles.
